LARGE, ORGANIC WICKER CHAIR
FROM NORTHERN EUROPE

Although very, very reminiscent of work from the 60’s by the famous Japanese designer Isamu Kenmochi (1912-1971) and also of some German productions of the same era, we cannot attribute the piece to a specific designer or producer.

We have found the piece in Denmark and according to our sources, this unbelievable handmade wicker chair comes from an architect’s home near Helsingor, and was made in the 60’s.

The large womb-like organic shape gives this easy chair not only its comfort, but also makes it a fantastic decorative piece. The cane is in very good condition and has a nice equal patina.
