RARE ROSEWOOD TROLLEY
BY JOHANNES ANDERSEN Sold

Danish designer Johannes Andersen (1903-1991) was trained as cabinetmaker and opened his own design studio in DK in the 30’s. Known for his organic and sometimes daring designs he soon was recognized as an important representative of Danish modernism.

This service trolley from the 50’s is a fine example of his work. Perfect proportions and rounded elements all over. The piece, produced and labeled by CFC Silkeborg, is executed in superb rosewood with very beautiful grain. Over the years the rosewood has become a bit lighter, making the ‘drawing’ even nicer.

The piece is fully orginal and in mint condition.
