VERY RARE PAIR OF EASY CHAIRS
BY FREDRIK A. KAYSER Sold
Although Norway doesn’t have the same reputation as Denmark in terms of midcentury design, it has to be said that the few pieces which found their way to the international market are of exceptional quality.
Norwegian designer Fredrik A. Kayser has designed several chairs in the fifties and sixties that place him in the league of Ib Kofod Larsen and even Finn Juhl.
This rare pair in teak was produced by Vatne in the 60’s. The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in top quality aniline leather and greased for a natural patina. Mint condition.
