VERY RARE SWAN WITH WOODEN LEGS
BY ARNE JACOBSEN
Architect Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) designed the ‘swan’ chair in 1958 for the Royal SAS hotel in Copenhagen. The easy chair is now considered to be one the most iconic Danish designs.
However, this is not just the ‘swan’ as you know it. End 50’s Jacobsen designed a version with wooden legs, which was only produced by Fritz Hansen for a couple of years in the early 60’s.
This very rare example has been professionally reupholstered in the finest Sorensen leather and ready to move into your home.
